Is bamboo fabric good for children with allergies?

A great advantage of bamboo is its naturally anti-bacterial properties. Bamboo can grow naturally without the use of pesticides or fertilisers. Thanks to a continuous antibiosis in bamboo and bamboo yarn, a unique resistance to pests, bacteria and fungi is created. This is why bamboo as a raw material for textiles is the ideal solution for babies' hypersensitive skin.

Can I wash bamboo textiles at 60°C?

No, washing at 60° is not recommended because the bamboo fibre will break down. Concerned about hygiene? Then you should know that bamboo fabric is naturally antibacterial. This means bacteria hardly get a chance and you can keep the textile perfectly hygienic by washing it at 40°C. Tumble drying is allowed, but only at low temperatures. Articles with filling should not be tumble dried. They should be dried flat, not hanging.

Can I use fabric softener?

The use of fabric softener is not recommended. Bamboo is very good at absorbing and removing moisture; however, fabric softeners clog the pores of the bamboo fabric, reducing the absorption rate.
